San Diego Padres Feeling The Hard Times

The Padres organization is going through what I would call a downward spiral.  There isn't too much going for your if your a Padre fan unless its another below average or at best a decent year. Well for all you Padre fans out there you will know have to fork over $25 bucks for a padres fan pack.

$25 For a Fan Pack, I hope you get more than a few stickers and giveaway items. If anyone has bought one of these please inform me how it turned out. For me that is much too high when you look at other teams sending you stuff for free.

Let's hope the Padres can sell enough Fan Packs to buy some more talent this year.

Raptors Update

I sent an email to the Tomoto Raptors a few days ago and today I got a response back. They informed that they were all out of Fan Packs and please try at a different time. No time frame. So I guess move the Raptors to the back of the list. I'm still waiting to hear from more teams. I will keep you posted.

Fan Pack Update

I'm back with a little more news for you about Fan Packs. I will be putting together a complete list of teams and their contact info and the sucess I had. This was just a quick post but for all your NBA fans or Pacer fans out there try this link

This is a direct link to where you can fill in your name and address to recieve a free Pacers fan pack. The site says it will take about 2-4 weeks to recieve. I'm waiting on mine as we speak. Anyways happy Obama Day!

Welcome to Fan Packs

As you can see this is the 1st post to the Fan Packs Blog. For the past few years I have been sending out emails, letters and phone calls to many pro and minor league sports teams in hope to recieve some free shwag in return. Some teams are very generous and others may leave you an email saying were all out and ect. Well here on this blog I will post my personal sucesses and failed attempts to recieve Fan Packs. I will also let you know how I went about and contacted them as well. Fan Packs are a great and cheap way to collect. Your feedback is encouraged. Let me know about your Fan Packs as well. Welcome to My 1st Blog post. Today will be nothing special other than yesterday I got some e-mails out to a number of teams for some Fan Packs. In about 4 to 5 days I should expect to see something in return from the teams that have really fast turn-around.

When I do recieve the Fan Packs I will take photo(s) of the items I recieve as well. This will give you a better idea of what I got and what you can expect.

So far here are the only updates I have on these fan packs.

I recieved an email from the Toronto Raptors that they are all out of Fan Packs. They told me to try my request at a different time. Also I recieved a personal email from a Pacers employee that refered me to another Pacers.com address to signup for a Fan Pack. I would have posted the link however the link was broken and I have since told them about the problem. Keep Checkin back as I keep checking my mailbox.
